Lodging at Camp Scully

Camp Scully offers a variety of housing options. Before registering review the campus map and the descriptions below.

You’ll have to decide what is more important to you, and select your housing accordingly! All choices have the same cost. $185 for Fri-Sun , $57or $70 for Thursday option.

  • Newer or Rustic?
  • Close to the dining hall or close to the beach?
  • Close to parking (driving up to the cabins is not allowed).
  • Private rooms (in older buildings) or Newer Dorm Rooms?
  • Bathroom in the cabin or cabin closest to the bathhouse?

If you want to house with friends, make sure that they also sign up for the same cabin/cottage/lodge/tent option before they are sold out. Assignments are first come, first served.

A note about bed counts: We are only counting the bottom bunks when there are bunk beds. If we need to expand to allow more attendees, we may add additional cabins, or use the top bunks.

We need accurate counts to prepare our food service. So please REGISTER by July 30 to avoid a $25 late fee.

Registration Closes on August 17.

Cabins 1 and 2

These cabins were recently refurbished with new porches added. They are located between the central  bathhouse and the dining hall.

There is a large, dorm room with 5 bunk beds and one counselor room with a curtain.

Those of you housed here will use the shared central bathhouse.

Cabin 10 - Back Porch

Cabin 10 is on the lake side of the campus, and therefore a distance from the parking lot. It is closer to the dining hall than the beach and is somewhat secluded, hidden between cabins 9 and 11, and closer to the lake.

It features a back porch and views of the lake. The dorm room has 6 bunk beds and one counselor room with two beds.

Those of you housed here will use the shared central bathhouse.

Cabin 11 - Back Porch/Bathroom - Sold Out!

Cabin 11 is on the lake side of the campus, but closer to the dining hall than the beach. It features a back porch with views of the lake, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. Note: availability of a working shower is not guaranteed.

There are two rooms, one with two beds and the other with three.

Cabin Yellow, Purple, or Blue - Newer with Front Porch

These newer cabins are located closer to the beach and parking, and feature a front porch. There is a large, spacious dorm room with 6 bunk beds and one counselor room with a curtain.

Those of you housed here will use the shared central bathhouse.

Lakeview Cottage - Private & Semi-Private Room - Sold Out!

Lakeview cottage is located down by the beach. It features 2 rooms, one double, and one single, as well as a sitting area and a tiny kitchen. You need to go through the single room to get to the shared bathroom (toilet and shower), so this cottage is ideal for 3 friends to share.

Note: This cabin is one of the original structures of the camp and the furniture, rugs, etc. are a bit worn out and grungy. There is a new refrigerator in the kitchen. Hopefully the shower will be operable.

Nurse's Nest - Two Private Rooms - Sold Out!

The Nurse's Nest is located down by the beach. It features 2 private rooms, as well as a sitting area and a small refrigerator.

There is a bathroom with a shower at the end of the hall. The toilet will be open to all camp attendees between 10 am and 6 pm each day.

Note: This cabin is one of the original structures of the camp and the furniture, rugs, etc. are a bit worn out and grungy. We can't guarantee that the shower will be operable. There is also no ventilation, but you can keep the door open during the day.

RV - Sold Out!

We have room for 3 smallish RVs in the parking lot behind the dining hall. We need to leave room in the "tenting driveway" for people to enter and leave the tenting area. There are no RV hookups!

You can use the toilets in the dining hall, and the shared bath houses with showers are only a little farther away.

Note: If you will be sharing an RV with someone else, please register with the Your Own Lodging Off-Campus option so that we don't double count a single RV. Let us know who you are sharing with.

Tenting

Tenting is available in the field behind the dining hall, and next to the chapel.

Note: You are not allowed to drive your car onto the field, and must unload in the driveway and then move your car to the parking lot.

You can use the toilets in the dining hall, and the shared bath houses with showers are only a little farther away.

Not seen in the photo is a fence on the right that separates Camp Scully from the Town of North Greenbush Beach.

Your Own Lodging Off-Campus

If you'd like to stay elsewhere and come for meals and activities every day, then this is the option for you.

Also select this option if you will sharing space in an RV that is already registered so that we don't count the RV twice. Please note in the Housing section of the registration form who you will be staying with.

Handicap Accessible Room in Lookout Lodge

Lookout Lodge is handicap accessible and is located near parking and the dining hall. It includes a bathroom and shower that is handicap equipped.

Note: We will hold two handicapped spots (shared in a double room) until August 12. Please contact us at Gathering@womenoutdoors.org to request access to register for one of these spots.
