Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors on the Raven Rocks hike starting in Bluemont, Virginia. This 5.5 mile moderately strenuous out and back hike features a very rocky trail and three major ascents, so wear your sturdy hiking boots and bring your hiking poles. We think the views will make this hike worthwhile.
We'll begin the hike on the Appalachian Trail as it crosses the first ridge. On the second ridge, we'll overlook the Winchester Valley. On our way up the third ridge, we'll pass a sign marking the Virginia/West Virginia border before reaching the overlook with views of the Shenandoah Valley.
This is free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to join us on two events before we ask you to join Women Outdoors.
