Women Outdoors is excited to announce the start of our new book club! Beginning in mid-August, we'll be reading The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration by Pulitzer Prize–winning author Isabel Wilkerson.

Join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026,at 7pm for an engaging Zoom discussion hosted by WO’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee.

This acclaimed book chronicles the Great Migration of millions of American citizens from Jim Crow South through powerful personal stories. Together, we'll explore its lasting impact on American society, with special attention to the experiences of women and the enduring relevance of the themes it raises today.
