We're heading to Sky Meadows State Park near Delaplane, VA for a moderate, 5.2 mile loop hike. We'll meander across or around the gentle rolling meadows and woodlands taking in the pastoral views. This being August, expect a leisurely pace. If you want to bring your dog to the Dog Days of August hike, leash rules are strictly enforced.
This is free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to join us on two events before we ask you to join Women Outdoors. Sky Meadows State Park charges a $4.00 entrance fee.
Please register no later than 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 7 and be sure and fill in your telephone number so we can reach you in case of last minute changes.
