BEFORE the snow is gone, scheduling one more and hoping for better weather than last time.

Join us for some cross-country skiing. At 11 am I will work on basic skills with newbies and those who are not comfortable on the very flat North Trail. Then at noon I'll take whoever wants to on my favorite trail: Westwind Trail if there is enough snow. If not, we’ll be snowshoeing/hiking along some other trails at Highland. I will email you on Thursday or Friday exactly what we can do depending on the snow amount. The Westwind trail is 4 miles of a nice trail with some hills up and down that are not super long nor super steep There is a cut-off for beginners who have skied enough to go on their own that will make the trail more like 2 miles. Plan for up to 3 hours depending on our speed.

*BRING* Dress in layers and bring water. There are ski rentals available. There are sleigh/wagon rides available too for an $8 fee. There is food and snacks in the lodge. The chili is very good.

Note: There is a $10 trail fee for those who do not have a season pass or $3 if we end up hiking!
