Feel free to come to only one or both of these events!

We’ll start off the afternoon with a FREE performance at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, Wesleyan Chapel in Seneca Falls as part of the Centennial celebration in NY State.

2 pm The Story Box written and performed by Suzi Takahashi
Award winning actor/director Suzi Takahashi explores the immigrant experience and its reverberations through a family’s history. A Japanese-American woman finds a mysterious box left to her by the previous generations, and through it, a voice for her family’s history of immigration, internment and silence. Admission to events at the Historical Park are FREE.
136 Fall St, Seneca Falls, NY 13148

We’ll grab some seats, so look for our Women Outdoors sign.

After the performance, at around 3:30 pm, we’ll meet in Waterloo at the private home of Sandy and Pat in Waterloo for a BBQ and tour the gardens. For the garden tour, you will walk among perennial beds, rock garden, and extensive herb garden, and see if you can spot all of the Fairy houses!  Hopefully we’ll also be able to spot some Great Blue Herons flying overhead. We’ll fire up the grill for a weenie roast and grilled veggies.

Bring a side dish to pass and optionally something else to grill if you don’t want hot dogs.

Note: the address above is for the performance. Address and Directions for the BBQ will be sent when you RSVP

This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors. Non-members are invited to join us on two events to see what you think. The third time's a charm - we'll ask you to join Women Outdoors at that point. You can join now by clicking on Join Us.
