On Sunday, Sept. 12, Women Outdoors goes on an urban walking adventure for a cause! Animals are a part of our home life and also part of the wild areas that we enjoy so much! Join animal lovers across the region in a fundraiser to help support the efforts of the MSPCA-Angell.  In their own words, this private, non-profit organization provides “animal protection and adoption, advocacy, humane education, law enforcement and world-class veterinary care.”  The MSPCA-Angell’s work helps both domestic and wild animals and the animals they help range from cats and dogs to elephants to beavers to birds.  To sign up for our team, contact the leader. We’re got a fundraising goal of $1,000.00 for our team!   Ask friends, co-workers, neighbors, parents, sisters, and brothers for pledges.  Every pledge adds up!  If you company offers it, get them to double the pledges you get at work.  Even if you can’t walk, you can still make a pledge.  Also, join our online team!

Our marching orders for this walk are:
“Get creative, get a little crazy, but most of all get going!”  So, let’s get going and get out there and get our pledges!  Our animal friends are counting on us to protect them!  Bring your animals with you on the walk! Also, this is a family event so bring your spouses, children, mom’s, dad’s, nieces, nephews, etc.!
