We will hike in the southern section, roughly 10 miles from Watkins Glen. The 3.5 mile loop will include the South Slope Trail, a section of the Finger Lakes Trail, and one of its branch trails, the Interloken Trail. We’ll stop approximately halfway at Dunham Lean-To to enjoy the view and have a snack/lunch.

There will be a 2 mile option for those wanting a shorter hike. Round trip with break will be approximately 3 hours.

Medium level of difficulty – the trail won’t be flat, but we won’t be mountain climbing, either.

Bring: Dress for the weather and walking, and bring your preferred hydration source and a snack/lunch. Bugs likely won’t be a problem, but consider bringing your favorite sun and bug protection just in case.

This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors. Non-members are invited to join us on two events to see what you think. The third time's a charm - we'll ask you to join Women Outdoors at that point. You can join now by clicking on Join Us.
