Kayaking on Jug Bay and Patuxent River
Summertime and the paddling is easy.

Registration is closed

We'll explore Jug Bay, one of the most important fresh water estuaries in the Chesapeake Bay region. After our gentle paddle, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch back on shore.

BYOB (bring your own boat) or you can rent a kayak or canoe for $6/hour for residents or $9/hour for non-residents. Everyone must wear a PFD. Be sure and call ahead and reserve a kayak - 301-627-6074.

This free event is open to members and non-members of Women Outdoors Mid-Atlantic. Non-members are invited to join us on two events to see what you think. The third time's a charm - we'll ask you to join Women Outdoors at that point. You can join now by clicking on Join Us.

Registration is limited to 15 and closes on Thursday, Sept. 4 (whichever comes first). Please include a telephone number in case of last minute changes or if we need to cancel because of the weather.
