    Welcome to the
    Boston Chapter of Women Outdoors!

The Boston Chapter Summer/Early Fall newsletter has just been posted and it's packed with events and news!  So be sure to check it out!  To access it, click on the "Newsletter" link on the "Greater Boston" region web page and you will be prompted to either save it (it's a PDF file) or open it.

There are many things in the works for this coming Fall and Winter so check back here often to find out all the updates!  Be sure not to miss this year's annual "Walk for Animals"  to benefit the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and the Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston.  Team "Women Outdoors" will be marching with our pets!  To check out the "Women Outdoor" team home page for the walk click here.

The next planning meeting will be Sept. 23, Thursday in Cambridge, followed by a "moonlight" walk and howl!

In the early fall, we'll be doing a "Ghost Tour" on Oct. 23, Sat., at the Mark Twain House in CT.  Also, coming up in October are a couple of hikes.  Check back later in Sept. for more details.

For more details on these events and pictures and trip reports on previous trips check out our newsletter!  Also, check out our calendar to see what is coming up!

For more information or to RSVP send email to Boston@WomenOutdoors.org.  You don't need to be a member to come on a trip or attend the planning meeting.

For those of you who are WO members, make sure you get on our Yahoo web site.  We have more info and impromptu trips posted on there!!  Send email to Boston@WomenOutdoors.org to get more information on this.
